What is Kassandra?

Kassandra is a platform for better climate change decision-making powered by generative AI.

With Kassandra it will be possible to improve planning and resource management of a city, with the aim of enhancing the natural and built environment and the quality of life of its inhabitants.

How does Kassandra work?

Kassandra creates or builds upon a Digital Twin of the asset to be studied that uses analysis and simulation tools to take a long-term and whole-system view of an environment.

Kassandra then undertakes an analysis of resilience for all the entities within the Digital Twin based on twelve main Kassandra Parameters, hundreds of sub-parameters and thousands of relationships between these parameters. This highlights immediately areas where resilience might be lower and that might require urgent action.

Clarity from complexity

Kassandra allows the opportunity to acquire data and transmit it to a virtual platform, acting firstly as a data consolidator, through which it can be communicated in an easily understandable manner.

With Kassandra, decision makers will be able to ‘see’ and ‘foresee’ the effect that individual decisions may have on climate change resilience and on the quality of life in an urban environment.

Who is Kassandra for?

As the only decision support system able to manage all aspects of a city, Kassandra is an invaluable tool for all those public authorities and private organizations aiming to improve resilience of their urban environment to climate change.

The use of widespread and interconnected sensors, applications and management software will make individual citizens, local authorities, governments, responsible for the fight against climate change in a highly democratic and participatory process.

A shared resilience borne out of adaptation.
